I can't be doing with anything which isn't fresh and/or good value. Blongb-- your ice cream sounds disgusting-- think I'll stick to Asda ! ;)

Have been into Coffee V in Craig Y Don a few more times since it opened. Its improved a lot, they now have a range of paninis/sandwiches etc. Well worth a visit.

Harvey;s the American restaurant should be open by the end of the week,then there is nothing left to look forward too.Oh the xmas lights of course.

It looks very nice from outside in the street.

The owners appear to have dropped the original name and are now calling it Harvey's - New York Bar and Grill.

We shall give it a try over the coming days.

6 of us went to East on Augusta Street last night to celebrate a friend’s birthday.  The food was fantastic and very reasonably priced.  ZXZ

Last week our retirement group had their Autumn lunch at the Royal Oak in Betws Y Coed and it was delicious.  The meal and everything was faultless and this was the third Autumn running that we have had our lunch there but I'm certain that we'll be back again next October.

I was looking at it with Fester earlier. Signage looks very good indeed.

It opened today and it seems me and Mrs R may have beaten DaveR to have a coffee in there before him.  D)

It is very nice inside.

The burgers look very attractive and it is well worth a visit.

Mrs R had a chat with the owner and he informed Mrs R his planning permission only came through earlier this week

Although the premises has always been selling food, as we all know (National Milk Bar, Wimpy and Burger King), it is easy to forget it was previously a pound shop for a while.

Whatever difference that makes it has obviously held him up and he missed the summer trade.

Harvey’s is a welcome addition to Mostyn Street and I hope everyone will do their best to support it over the coming weeks.
