I admit that we have not been to Tops, we must try them. We enjoy Nikki Ipps and think that the food is superb. However, it would be improved if the menu changed occasionally.

I believe the Jai Ho Restaurant in Deganwy is up for sale, due to the Owner moving to the former Vollams shop in Llandudno.

We went to Asia for a curry last night, you would not believe how busy it was, people were queuing down the stairs to get in!

It is a great meal there, but I've never seen it THAT busy!
Usually you are seated straight away.
Go on a Sunday, and one of your main courses is free...... plus it's never too busy.

It was absolutely heaving, groups of 6 or more turning up all the time whilst we were there. Every table was taken. Great meal too!  $good$

From the Daily Post:

Two women were injured after a cigarette lighter was dropped into a deep fat fryer which then 'blew up' in a Llandudno cafe.
The incident happened at the Take A Break cafe in Gloddaeth Street at around 1pm today. According to eye-witness reports, one of the women was attempting to light a grill with a lighter when it was dropped into the fat fryer.

They described it then 'popping' and it is understood oil splashed onto at least one of the women. Other witnesses reported seeing a woman coming out of the cafe clutching her face, and being treated in an ambulance. The woman is believed to have been taken to a minor injuries unit for further treatment to her injuries.

A Fire Service spokesman confirmed they had sent two engines from Llandudno, but the fire had already been put out on arrival.

I've been to the the one in Mold, it was fine but  i wouldn't describe it as anything special.
