Just heard that Iceland is closing.  Rent is 31k a month????? can't be true can it?  Mostyn's are pricing the town out if it is.

You are right. It is the most rent paid on any Iceland store in the uk.

About 6 months ago, I posted on this Forum about price increases becoming more frequent and insidiuous.
I named the thread 'Price Inflation', and it still exists I believe.
I prattled on about crisps now being 65p a bag etc..and basic foodstuffs flying up in price.
But at the time, those who responded, basically told me I was wrong.

I am sad to see that more and more people are noticing this now, but at least I know that I'm not going mad.

I just logged in Llandudno retail developments, hotel and it came up in a job recruitment website, sorry did not get the name,but on first page.

How are they allowed to get away with this... The governments always banging on about recycling  :rage:
Surely this causes TWICE as much waste... Why do they not put in a law that says bags must be at least 80% filled or something similiar?

Case in point about crisps, Walkers used to do a big bag (100g) for 99p, they now do a 'New Bigger Bag' for 125p but sneakily it is just 115g.

Nice find, Wrex. I wonder where that is going to be...maybe Diskos? Would need change of use.
