This topic will show the most recent recommendations of local traders by Which? members and our very own recommendations. Folk are also invited to post reviews of the work done, to which I can then link from this post.

Hi - hope this is in the right place !

I will require a plumber/gas fitter very shortly in the Llandudno (Great Orme) area.

I need two new radiators fitting downstairs and the gas fire in my front lounge needs re-connecting ( I could smell gas and so British Gas capped off the pipe for me, although they could detect no leak !)

Any referrals would be greatly appreciated
(Ideally I'd like the work done next week, whilst I'm off work - I know that's hghly unlikely but you don't get if you don't ask !!) Cheers ...(tried a smiley here but obviously didn't work !)

I've said it before ... and I'll say it again.

Brian Thomas is the man .... (he's in the book)  he lives on the Great Orme, Llwynon Road, and not only is he a great plumber / gas fitter,  he is the all-round greatest guy who ever lived.     Don't tell him I said that!

I've got a lot of moss growing on the north facing roof of my house and need someone to remove it as I'm not going up there myself!
Can anyone recommend some one who does that type of work?

Many Thanks Ian and Fester

By the way - is there a Thanks "button" on here or similar?
(Like you get on some forums, if you get good advice, etc. No probs if not, I just wondered.)

Is moss a problem, really? I used to have loads on my old house and the only difference it made was that you maybe had to clear out the gutters more often. Birds like taking it to line their nests.
