I don't know about the after 5pm bit, but if you do it yourself with one of the wasp nest destroyer sprays, the guidelines say it is best when it's dark - I think the theory is that all the wasps will be in the nest and not flying in and out.

Thanks Fester, that's scary stuff ! I think I'll leave it to the professionals.

I just think its a bit costly as a friend has just had one removed recently by their council pest control for free !

If one does a DIY job it is correct to do it after the little blighters have settled down to bed.  The other thing is do not remove the nest.  Wasps will not return to a "dead" nest, but if you remove it new wasps will soon construct another.      ££$

I think I'll call the council again on Monday as the two other traders I rang for quotes haven't got back to me !

hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone knows where I could get some motorcycle leathers altered, I suspect it may be more involved than normal jeans with need for waterproofing and such. thought about trying The Zip Yard. Grateful for any advice.
