Many Thanks Ian and Fester

By the way - is there a Thanks "button" on here or similar?
(Like you get on some forums, if you get good advice, etc. No probs if not, I just wondered.)

Well,  there is a smiley that does this...   $good$ $good$   or this ...  $thanx$ $thanx$ $thanx$

Is moss a problem, really?
Besides looking ugly it's not really a problem but it does trap water which over a long time can wear concrete tiles in particular.

We have quite a bit of moss on our roof too and we were advised to leave it to avoid further problems.

By the way Fester - I've not got the thumbs up smiley that you posted above (and I can't get any of them to work that I have got, not sure what I'm doing wrong!)  $thanx$ (Actually I think I've sussed it - well it showed up in my preview anyway !)  ;D ;D

It's also necessary to leave a space after your last letter before inserting a smiley and a good idea to put the larger ones about three return/enter-spaces below.  Stops the line formatting getting messed up.

Is moss a problem, really? I used to have loads on my old house and the only difference it made was that you maybe had to clear out the gutters more often. Birds like taking it to line their nests.

It is when you are getting ear ache from her indoors!

Is there any place in Llandudno that someone can recommend for ear piercing.   Preferably someone who will do it whilst I wait.

Never had an ear pierced but I would guess that "while you wait" is the only way to do it! My daughter had her's done in the Victoria Centre about 10 years ago but I'm not sure if the shop is still there.

The first part was a serious request - the second was added just to see how many of you were awake!!     L0L L0L L0L

As it happens it was for a re-pierce for my wife as she has not worn ear rings for a long time.  But luckily she tried to put her old sleepers in and they went through without problems.  That's saved a few bob!   ΒΆΒΆ##

Yes, how did you guess?  And at the time a Class 7MT 4-6-2 Steam Locomotive was thundering past on the track, hauling 14 coaches with a full complement of passengers!     _))*    _))*
