that leaves only myself, Ian and the legendary Oscar still operating.

The word 'operating' is stretching it a bit in my case, however. Really must try to find the time to do some more.

I see yet another local Blog has shut down, namely Blogllandudno. If my reckoning is correct, that leaves only myself, Ian and the legendary Oscar still operating.

Was that Victor's?
Victor used to post in the early days of his blog that he had attended the Sunday morning service at Holy Trinity but although several of us tried to pin-point who he was, there was no obvious candidate and so the "mystery" remained.
That's right, I think it was pretty much agreed in the end that Victor didn't actually exist as a real person.

I think we all get the same thing.  I run a Blog which has International interest and it is absolutely amazing where the hits come from.  I do think a lot are people searching, and they have selected a key word associated with the Blog which just takes them too the Home page, and of course a hit is registered.  If you look at the page analysis and see the hits per page it tells a slightly different story.  However, it is all very interesting and just shows the World wide base that a Blog can reach.  If one is using Google ads (which I don't) then who cares where the hits come from?   :D

Bit of a mistake on Oscar this evening.  On a post about parcel delivery there was a mention of "Sue phoned up...."   - later it had been amended to "a colleague".    L0L   L0L

The clues are there!     _))*

I noticed a comment this morning, which said that the mysterious Sue was the wife of Arthur of Arch Motors in Llandudno. Unfortunately, that's not correct, Arthur's wife is called Julie.  Looks like the wrong tree is once again the recipient of some canine noises!

It "Sue" had been left in, I think that most people would have regarded it as a red herring.  By removing it so quickly it becomes obvious that "Sue" is connected to the writer of the post.   Unless, of course, it is a double bluff!       D)

Ah!  But you see HE could actually be a SHE, or it could be more than ONE.   Or the original Oscar could have been superceded by ANOTHER.   The mystery deepens!     L0L  _))*  L0L  _))*  ΒΆΒΆ##
