I was sad to see today that the 55 Diner at Llanddulas had closed down and was boarded up. It's always been a great family owned business, that served excellent quality food and drink at reasonable prices.

The breakfasts there were really nice.  Went past a few weeks ago and was really gutted about it.  Only went there in October

Yes, always enjoyed my meal there. Such a shame.

I understand that work on Caffe Nero has stopped whilst the situation regarding Planning Permission is clarified.

Cafe 101 at Penrhryn Bay has been overhauled since being sold but has not yet opened as the fish and chip shop we were told about.  Now there seems to be fairly extensive alterations (for a small property) going on at the side.  Looks like foundations for an extension.  I'll watch progress.

I believe the overall benefits of the scheme took precedence over the few drawbacks, some of which will be ironed out in negotiations with CCBC officers anyway.

On the Welsh news last nite they showed how Wrexham were coping with the high st problem, they have a town center manager and they have introduced free parking from midday.I know the town center manager was talked about but never followed up. ££$

I was in the centre of Wrexham on Wednesday late afternoon/early evening and, considering it was so close to Christmas,  it was eerily quiet.
