I'm not sure about a Pavillion other than the Pavillion Theatre which is still going strong - for now.  The fact it's joined onto the Sun Centre might be a bit of a problem if the Sun Centre does get demolished  :'

I was thinking about the old Rhyl Pavillion, the one with the domed roof that you could see from miles away.    The powers that be said the roof was unsafe so the building had to be demolished but when it was demolished the roof came down  intact.     :o

The Looking Glass Ice Cream Parlour (in the old Escape shop) has a sign in the window advertising for staff.

Noticed a Job advert today for a Barista required at a new cafe called Cups n Cakes. Not that I am in the job market but where is this Cups n Cakes going to open.
And how many coffee facilities will that total.
Strangely enough one would have thought that being a Coffee Bean Merchant would be a lucrative business but I have noticed them going bust recently.

I spotted that in the newspaper, and I bet my wife that Andy would point it out on here first!

We are certainly going to be giving it a visit!   $dins$ $dins$

I've had a bit of feedback on Hickory's from my parents who managed to get themselves invited to one of their trial runs and got a free meal there.  The decor is apparently very nicely done and an impressive job.  The food however was (or would have been if they'd had to pay) very expensive for what it is.  One option on the menu is a 52oz steak priced at £70, which I assume is either there in case Adam Richman turns up or is intended to be shared by three or four people.  The food they actually had - prawn starter, pulled pork and Key Lime pie was nice not enormous portions considering the prices.  On the plus side the coffee was very nice.  Basically it sounds like they're charging Chester riverside prices alongside the B5115 in Rhos-on-Sea.  My parents won't be rushing back, although they probably aren't part of the demographic Hickory's will be targeting and they probably wouldn't have rushed there if it hadn't been for the offer of a freebie.

With the demographic tending towards those of pensionable age, the Government will have to give me a pay rise before we go there!
