Is this a quiz question?  ???

The mountain in the distance is the clue.  Looks like Ailsa Craig taken from the Isle of Arran.   ZXZ

Which was in the quiz section by Hollins and spotted by Gwynant.

No, it wasn't meant to be a quiz question. It is Ailsa Craig but not taken from Arran. It was taken from Glenapp Castle on the Ayrshire coast.
I thought it was interesting to see the weather changing the view and the sky constantly there. You lucky ones living near the sea maybe take that for granted now.
Photo, similar view at sunrise.

Here he is getting settled for an overnight stay in Wormwood Scrubs!   :D

I stayed at the Radisson in Manchester again last night. DaveR, I'm not sure where you eventually chose for your trip but it is still excellent in my view.
This was the view from my room on the 9th floor. First one in the rainy morning and the second in the sunny evening.
We were in Manchester yesterday, so stopped off to have a nose around the Radisson - looks great! Also liked the look of the Midland Hotel just up the road.

Were you able to take any photos in Manchester DaveR? Would love to see them if you did.
