It's practically impossible to stop anyone copying your posts etc, I'm afraid.

"Copyright falls under the auspices of intellectual property law and protects the rights of creators of original works of authorship whether the work in question is published or not. Original works of authorship include literary, dramatic, musical, and artistic works such as poetry, novels, movies, songs, computer software, and photography. By law, when something is written, drawn, photographed, etc., its copyright is automatically owned by the author. In other words, a copyright exists at the moment the work is created."
...but try enforcing it.  &shake&

The oldest way of preserving copyright and which some still use is to mail a copy of the document in question to yourself. The Post Office franking date is viewed as legally establishing when the document in question was created. Providing, of course, that you don't open the envelope when you get it...  $angry$

DaveR, you were asking about Manchester hotels. This article might help.

This was the rather quintessential British scene from our room with a view last weekend.
We stayed at Swinton Park hotel near the village of Masham in North Yorkshire. What a beautiful county it is. I love the village greens and the openness of the villages.
The bathroom was fab!
I was given a gift voucher for Betty's for my birthday so we had the chance to use it in Northallerton.
Despite me not having been up there regularly for many years two of the staff members at Betty's remembered me. They have worked there for 32 and 27 years. That's what I call continuity!

This offer just came through from Travelzoo for Plas Maenan that Hugo recommended.
I  know its not very far away but £89 for dinner bed and breakfast for two would make a nice treat maybe?
Only for Tuesday to Friday though and you have to buy the voucher first.

It's all action and drama in Portugal this Summer.  I don't know whether I will ever be able to hold my head up in respectable company again!    _))*

I hope the police charge themselves with 'witnessing illegal gambling' they were there after all!

I stayed at the Radisson in Manchester again last night. DaveR, I'm not sure where you eventually chose for your trip but it is still excellent in my view.
This was the view from my room on the 9th floor. First one in the rainy morning and the second in the sunny evening.

We've not been yet, H, but the Radisson will be top of the list when we go.

We had a good deal when we stopped at the Radisson on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh last year .   $sunny$

Stayed at many Radisson's, and they rank alongide Marriot's as being very good hotels indeed.

I always seek them out when I am travelling anywhere.

Went for a couple of nights at the Bulkeley Hotel in Beaumaris last week. Booked a really nice suite with 3 windows overlooking the Menai Straits, plus a great Wet Room style bathroom. Had a great time, as always, also went on a boat trip round Puffin island for the first time, many hundreds of Cormorants and Shags there, together with a large colony of Seals, must have been 30 at least. Finished off with a walk around the eerie Parys Mountain.
