Not such a new idea Nem, when we went to buy our place back in August of 1997, we worked in it for 2 weeks before contracts and money changed hands. If it wasen't right for us, we could have pulled out at any time. Carol and Andy Oliver then stayed on for 2 weeks after we boughtthe place to help us through the start-up.

You were lucky there Blongb, due to unfortunate circumstances we were dropped in at the deep end, complete with a booking for a group of German Orchid growers ! :o

I really had to chuckle at an advert. in this week's Pioneer for a Mother's Day Meal.
One of the well known local hotels has " Roast Lion of rare breed Pork" and " Poached Bear" on its menu.

I think what fester meant ,last year when they put it up for sale they wanted to have it for themselves for the month .bet the owners of the Dunoon will be happy .
