I love this story in the Daily Post today:

"RAIDERS armed with hammers and a bat struck at two pubs in one night – just days after a masked gang carried out a similar attack nearby."

I can just imagine the balaclava wearing villains wielding a Pipistrelle at terrified bar staff...

How dare you attempt to trivialise these harrowing incidents with your feeble bat 'play on words' joke?

I shall summon you all to the Forum Head Office, for a severe dressing down.  &shake&

Last year the week before the extravaganza the NWWN had no editorial about the event whatsoever,no mention of the biggest event that happens in the whole of North Wales and this vso called community paper gave the event not an inch, funny that.Lets hope nothing appears next week.

Firefighters have been dealing with a blaze on a wooden fishing boat in Conwy.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said three appliances were dealing with the incident on the 40ft (12m) vessel at about 17:30 GMT.

The boat involved is believed to be an abandoned trawler. The cause of the blaze has not been confirmed.

Holyhead coastguards said the Llandudno RNLI lifeboat was also called to the incident.

The fire service said crews were dampening down after the initial blaze.

We at i61 Church are delighted to announce our forthcoming change of address. Having originally started out a pub in Conwy six years ago, for the last twenty-four months we have been meeting in Ysgol John Bright.  Now we are on the move again, this time to Cineworld in Llandudno Junction! From the 11th of March, everyone and anyone will be welcome to come and catch a service with us, our ‘showing times’ are every Sunday at 11 AM. For more information, please visit our website www.i61.org or alternatively download the free i61 app from the iTunes store.

Senior Pastor Steve Houghton explains the church’s “Down To Earth Spirituality” tag-line:

“i61 is a contemporary church for unchurched people, in other words those who wouldn’t usually want to enter a church building. So we are incredibly excited to bring to them a place where they can enjoy the big-screen experience and amazing sound of Cineworld, as well as the friendly, family atmosphere of our church.”

Anytime Wrex old chap!  I've always fancied myself as a bit of a lay preacher!   L0L
