Snowdonia Nurseries?

Absolutely correct!  Only lasted about 5 minutes that one!    _))*

I've never seen it when I've walked on the West Shore going to the gunsite.    It's on the shore and I was going to say by the viaduct between Llanfairfechan and Penmaenmawr but as it's the 3 towns quesetion then I must be wrong.
I don't think it's underneath the Marine Drive on the North Shore only because there is sand on the beach in the photo.     :D
I'll have to have another think.    ?{}?

Hugo, I am afraid that I might have misled you as it is actually below the A55 eastbound which goes round Penmaenbach but as the three towns are Llandudno, Colwyn Bay and Conwy I thought that is qualified for "local" rather than "out of area". There is also a large cave there which is not gated.(see pics)
As it would have been so wet underfoot yesterday after Thursday's storms we took the bus to Llanfairfechan and walked back via the cycle track over to Penmaenmawr ( which was the only uphill section) then along the beach at Pen, round Penmaenbach headland (still on the beach) and then round the  Beacons, through the marina and then Bodlondeb woods to Conwy (for my pie from Edwards's) and then through Deganwy and back home to Llandudno . Google maps gives the distance as 12.6 miles but as we walked round on the beach most of the way I reckon is was nearer 13 and it certainly felt like it this morning!  Incidentally can anyone who lives in the Pen/Llanfair area tell me if it is possible to walk between Llanfairfechan and Pen on the beach below the viaduct please?

Gwynant,  I was miles away with my guess so don't worry.    That was a very interesting find and I bet there is a lot of history behind it.  Nice walk too and a long one as well.     $good$
My friend wants to walk on the beach at Llanfairfechan and take photos of the viaduct there.  He said that you can actually walk on the beach but only on certain tides but he's been talking about this for over 6 years now so I'm not holding my breath.

In 1973 the local Magistrates made a blanket ban on a certain entertainment coming to Colwyn Bay.
What was it?   ££$
