He also designed many of the buildings in Colwyn Bay itself, including the building that is now Peacocks in Station Road compete with stone pharaohs at first floor level. I may be wrong, (and more often than not I am), but I think that planning permission was introduced shortly after the end of the second world war. Now I will await a sharp repremand from those in the know for peddling untruths, see if I care, I will take it like a man
