This sign was on the other side of the street but I can't remember seeing the sign before.      But where is the street?

The last photo should have made it easy,  but the answer is Llys Helyg Drive         It's a long time since I last walked down the road but I've not noticed those two signs before

Willow    Yn Gymraeg    Helyg       =    Llys Helyg Drive
Court            "              Llys

Well done Meleri, you were really quick with that one.      It's by the bus stop at the West End of Colwyn Bay

Here's a very easy one

Where is it?

Can anyone tell me what it was built for?

Tunnel under the Marine Drive at West Shore by the derelict Summerhouse. Don't know why it was built, though - access to mine workings maybe?

Well done Dave, that's exactly where it is

I don't know the exact reason why it was built but I believe that it was as you said built for  access for some type of workings

My guess is that it was for the quarry behind the opening.  When I had a look at it you could see parts of a metal ladder that went from the shore up to the tunnel.   There was also a wooden pier at one time that enabled boats to transport the material by sea and a few wooden stumps are still visible there
