I would love to jump in and defend "our" Fester, but on this one I just can't agree with him.
Being happy to pay 8 quid for a glass of wine doesn't make you a snob it just makes you a bit daft
And I'm saying this from someone who spent most of last year's weekends in "that" London, where £8 is nearer the norm than the shocker.

However, I don't see how digging up Fester's posts from another forum has any relevance in this matter whatsoever.

I am not concerned about how much you pay for a glass of wine or a coffee.
What I am concerned about is the fact that Buff thinks he has the right to abuse people with name calling.
He has only been a member here for a very short time and I think he is overstepping the mark.
I think that he should apologise and refrain from further abusive comments in the future.
I shall say no more on the matter.

PS: As I recall "Yorkies" are a small breed of Terrier?

Or, on the other hand, could be a rather unpleasant Rottweiler!   ^^^^

I do respectfully disagree with born2run, those posts are relevant; the posts on any other forum by a member of this forum shows how that member is likely to behave on any forum, (as in: misbehave in one pub, and you are likely to be banned from all the pubs in the area) and those posts were disgraceful.

Is that supposed to evoke fear in my heart??

Afraid not, I emailed one of the sites Admin hours ago requesting deletion of both my account and posts.

I'm merely waiting until they comply with my request, so drink away.

Great username by the way, you sound a real card.

Saying less might be wiser, B. i've also deleted a couple of words you used, as this is is a 'family friendly' forum.

But Fester being "in' is allowed to be sarcastic, arrogant, patronizing, argumentative and to endlessly boast about his drinking (read through his post history) unchallenged.

Real "family friendly" Ian.

Double standards it seems.

I'm always puzzled why people join a forum and are so controversial immediately? Seems pointless to me?  What members may say on another forum should not matter, all forums are different in what is ok and what is not to be said. Obviously Fester never thought that anyone would go to such lengths to find it and then put it on here, seems totally out of order to me! Buff it's easy to go, you will miss out on much useful knowledge, why not apologise and contribute?  ;D

Not really, B.  We do wield a very light hand in editing terms, but what few rules we have we try to enforce without fear or favour.

Will my posts be deleted as well Ian (would be appreciated) ?

May be for the best if I departed from past experience this won't end well and it's not why I came to Llandudno or joined this forum.

Why would someone go to such lengths to find a members posts from another forum? How would they know where to look? Especially someone who has only just joined. I've been a member of this site for years and haven't got a clue what other forums members belong to. Very peculiar.
