There was a Great American Disaster restaurant in Chester years ago, very good burgers in nice surroundings in the days before McDonalds took over.
It was definitely called the Great American Disaster, and was in the area Ludo describes. It had blown up photos of the Kennedys and the Speakeasy days on the walls and blown up newspaper cuttings. I was always impressed by the four different types of relish you would get with your food (it was the 1970's!) and the prices were reasonable!Would an "American Disaster" restaurant be considered appropriate these days?
