I've heard that Oxfam have put out an appeal,  Please Please no more Man. Unt. Football Shirts.   :D

There will be more shirts coming tomorrow as Sunderland have won the semi final of the Capital Cup and now Sunderland face Man City in the final.
At least Man Utd   are still in the Champions league.

The Champions League is my favourite competition. I will be so disappointed if they don't make it next year. Still it is good to have different teams going for the Premiership and in a much closer battle for points.

Football's a funny old game Hollins,  United romped home in the Premiership last year with the same players as they have this year and yet this year they will be lucky if they finish in the top 6.
The Premiership is more competitive this year and in some ways it's a good thing.
I like the Champions League myself but in some ways I think it has been devalued since it started out.   It was originally a competition between the Champions of each country and the winners would be the outright champions of Europe but now the runners up etc in each country are allowed to play in it so I don't see the point of it other than for its commercial value.

Go easy on the wine as they've scored another      ;D    shame they didn't have a clean sheet as the goal difference is only the same as when they beat Everton!        :D

On second thoughts Hollins,  I don't blame you for having a tipple or two ZXZ

What with Nemanja Vidic going at the end of the season, Patrice Evra too and Rio Ferdinand going ( his legs have gone already though) and the allegations that Van Persie is unhappy there,   it's enough to turn any supporter to drink.      Z** Z**

At least Ryan Giggs is still staying there.

As a one time football referee, I think its Ok for me to to suggest that a better option is to watch a proper game like Rugby!

Olympiakos 2   Man Utd  0

Utd were beaten by the better team on the night but may be able to overcome their deficit at Old Trafford in 3 weeks time.  The selection of 3 of the back four Evra, Vidic  and Ferdinand are all leaving at the end of the season so it will be difficult to replace them with quality players.
