Liverpool Football Club lost almost £50m in 2012-13, but believes it is heading in the correct commercial direction.

Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic will join Inter Milan on a free transfer in the summer.

The Serie A giants have confirmed the 32-year-old centre-back has signed for them, although they have not revealed the length of contract.    Serbian international Vidic confirmed his intention to end an eight-and-a-half-year stay at United last month.
He joined the club in 2006, and has made over 200 appearances, helping them to five Premier League titles.
Like United, Inter look certain to miss out on qualification for next season's Champions League. They are currently fifth in Serie A, 11 points behind third-place Napoli

The Manchester City team, playing against Barcelona in the last 3 weeks reminded me a lot of Oscar Pistorius.

They lost both legs, but still got four shots on target!

Man Utd  0    Liverpool 3

"It was one of the most comprehensive away performances at Old Trafford for many years. Liverpool absolutely battered them in all areas and United looked like strangers. Make no bones about it, it could have been six or seven, Liverpool's movement was so good.

The Premiership is wide open at the moment with the top teams apart from Liverpool dropping points.   Man City have games in hand but there are some tough games ahead for all the top 4 clubs.
Man Utd had a great 4 - 1 win over Aston Villa in their mid table clash

Norman, I have been very impressed with Everton this year and they had a great win over the weekend and deserve to be in the top 6.
I must give David Moyes the credit though for turning Everton from the 5th best team on Merseyside to the 3rd best team,  behind Liverpool FC  and Liverpool FC Reserves  of course      ;D

You need to make  that a large one Hollins!        ;)

I'll just settle for a beer but I hope that in the excitement I don't spill the beer over my new football shirt!        Z**
