So sad and tragic even now. I had been supporting them for a few years before the crash and had a photo of some of the team standing on the steps of the Towers Hotel

your right Hugo it was a tragic event , i remember  seeing it on the news on our black and white telly. It was a big shock to all the football fans and  the pain was felt by all who had an ounce of decency about them. it will never be forgoten, for the club will pay there respect when the anniversary date comes around, rightly so.

I'm just glad that it didn't go into extra time as City are at their best then!       D)

Brendan Rogers has confessed to driving Chris Huhne's car. He desperately wanted the three points.  ;)

I'm surprised that the Turkish referee didn't book Rio Ferdinand at the end of last night's game at Old Trafford that saw Real Madrid go through to the next round.

Congratulations to Wrexham FC -  they won the final of the FA Trophy competition earlier today.

Score was 1 - 1 after extra time with Wrexham winning 4 - 1 on penalties.

A great result for the club and town and well worth their effort after making that journey through all that snow.      $good$     $walesflag$
