ALDI is currently looking to recruit for 130 store colleagues in Wales.                            ref pioneer

Th UK’s fourth-largest supermarket is looking for people of all levels of experience to fill roles at its stores across the region.

This includes both full-time and part-time positions such as store cleaner and assistant, all the way up to deputy store manager.

Stores in North Wales where Aldi is looking to hire include Old Colwyn, Bangor, Prestatyn, Porthmadog, Llandudno, Denbigh, Rhuddlan, Ruthin, Rhyl, Llangefni, Llangollen, Pwllheli.

Kelly Stokes, recruitment director at Aldi UK, said: “As we continue to open in new areas, we’re looking to welcome hundreds more colleagues to our amazing teams across the country.

“We want even more people to be a part of our success in the future, which is why we offer a great working environment and opportunities to progress within the business.”

In May, Aldi increase pay rates for store colleagues for the second time this year, taking the supermarket’s investment in wages this year to £79million.
Starting pay for store assistants at Aldi is £12.40 per hour nationally, and £13.65 per hour inside the M25.

Linc Cymru is offering job seekers the opportunity to help support older adults at a recruitment event in Llandudno.

The event, hosted with Working Wales, will be held at Llandudno's Careers Wales Centre on Wednesday, August 28, between 10am and 12pm.

Attendees will find a variety of roles on offer at Linc Cymru’s Abbeyfield retirement homes.

Roles available include deputy/house manager, cook, domestic help and various administrative positions.

Guaranteed same-day interviews for attendees who bring their CVs are part of the programme, with CV and interview preparation support available from Working Wales.

Renowned supermarket giant Aldi, is preparing to hire 3,500 employees ahead of the bustling holiday period. The roles available include permanent store positions tasked with stock replenishment and aiding shoppers, alongside managerial and cleaning jobs.

Aldi has announced its store assistants will continue to earn the industry's leading starting wage at £12.40 per hour nationally and £13.65 within the M25 area. Unique among UK supermarkets, Aldi provides paid breaks, equivalent to over £900 annually for the typical store employee.
