Spoken to the Police & Council, have you? Yes, sure you have, son.

Criminal damage is criminal damage, regardless of whether it's on public or private property. Did no-one tell you that?

Not sure Llandudno should be that keen on the Carroll/Dodgson and Alice connections really. Might just come back to haunt us.

You really should seek some advice mate, I don't mind you calling me a lair I've spoken to both parties and they both told me about this little debate on here and said it would be a good idea for me apologise on here to try make peace but its falling on deaf ear like normal. Why did I bother really I could just leave the whole thing and dissappear as you will find it hard to find/trace me and proving it would be difficult without a confession or evidence ? , so play the game be nice and by friday this will all be over ? And as its not a public road your say doesnt really count as you dont own it, the person that owns it cant prosecute !!!! But ive gave you all my word it will be done so it will be

It's as Dave says, criminal damage is just that irrespective of ownership.  The Marine Drive is publicly owned even though it is not a public highway.

Oh and does Kowalski mean Joe McCarthy.  Eugene McCarthy was a lefty Democrat who unsuccessfully stood against Nixon.

I reckon Getalife is a pretty genuine type judging by his posts, and I have a feeling that he will get the job done.  Not sure how though, but fair play.

Conversely, its obvious that Kowalski is a rampant attention seeker, irrespective of anyone's politics, (but surely we all hate the EDL and we all feared what would happen if their protest went ahead)
Everytime I read any of his posts I am confused, as he simply links entirely unrelated issues and then looks to cause controversy by uttering mild insults and innuendo.

Now, Admins, ...on other Forum's I use, there is a 'filter' facility.  When you filter another member, you save yourself valuable time and hassle from having to read their inane drivel
Does such a filter facility exist with the functionality of this Forum?   If so, can you throw the switch please!

Re: getalife
Give the guy a break!!
He has admitted that he sprayed the "graffiti" on the road.
This is not illegal as long as the landlord is asked for his approval in the first place - it is a private road. - If not, then it is up to the landlord to object/approve/press charges, for abuse of his land.

He has come forward 'willingly' to accept all responsibility to to the "graffiti" spraying, & has also said that he will remove all traces of the spray painting. He has also accepted that the wrong paint was used - whether knowingly or not.

Dont condemn him to quickly & give him a little time to remove the "graffiti"

If its not done when promised, then he can be "condemned"
If it is done when promised, then you can trust this organization to host future events in the town.

Re. Getalife - good for you in having the courage to come forward and admit you made a mistake. That is a rare commodity in today's life. Like others, I believe you are genuine in your intent and will make good your promise. However, I'm afraid that will probably not satisfy your detractors who seem to revel in twisting and spinning anything that's posted. It's a shame that the narrow view cannot be expanded to discuss the merit of the races.  I believe it was quite the success.

For about 35 years I thought that Llandudno was the peaceful place in which I had grown up, it was home, it was lovely.

Then I discovered The "Thoughts of Oscar" blog, then I discovered the threads about "scum" and foreign aid on this forum. All of a sudden Llandudno started to feel decidedly less lovely through the filter of these spirit-crushing vortices.

Why would I seek the attention of a clique whose spite and petty-mindedness have caused me to doubt my feelings about my hometown? Far from craving your attention I wish I'd never stumbled across this message board.

Cue the pithy putdowns and pop psychoanalysis..........
