Buy the Weekly News on Thursday and you will see the details accompanied by an excellent David Roberts Photography pic of Miss Alice and Ian.

Would that be the one already posted on Facebook?

The floral clock has stopped at 10.13.
Still not working today.
Can't say I am surprised it's a dreadful design.
I predict it will be either trashed or removed

Have they got it running off solar power? That will keep stopping it this summer! _))*

Its a pity we did;nt see the design before it was built, then people could have told the council it needs to be seen,i hope they get the Alice in Wonderland xmas lights right(if of course they have even discussed them)

How is the Daffodil planting going, not knowing when they should be planted im just curious, its a great idea,as are the crocus waves we see in Craigside and along Gloddaeth,i first saw this in Harrogate about 7 years ago and thought then how spectacular they looked.Do we know where all the Daffodils are to be planted

It's a very good point. All too often, these decisions are taken without any public consultation. In the age of the Internet, it's very easy to stick a proposed design etc up on the Council website and invite opinions from the, er, people that are paying for it..

Have you seen the Council Web Site?   A five year old child in the first year of IT lessons could do better.  Problem is they had a cheap job done with similar cheap maintenance, very little information of use to the public and updates about 2 years adrift time-wise!

It needs someone to ask about what the whole sheebang is costing us!   ZXZ

In the case of the Floral Clock, I was thinking of the CCBC website which is pretty good.  $good$

The Town Council website is not good -I'd personally recommend they go for a simpler design, powered by a Wordpress backend - makes adding and updating information as simple as making a post on the Forum.

This would be your reply,we are the elected,we decide, not some lowlifes on a forum,if we want a website that gives nothing then thats what we will have, the less they know on the forum the better.A handful must read this forum but no real interest in Llandudno apart from their politics or the Penrhyn ward.
