Council gardeners were hard at work in the pouring rain this afternoon in Prince Edward Square.

On the topic of the Mayor's promises...

Well, why should anyone listen to that drivel.

Its only a year ago, (a year that passed very quickly) when the new Mayor stated that he had only ONE priority.

He would resolve the Pier Pavilion Eyesore in his year in his office.

I recall posting on here at the time that it was a ludicrous thing to say.  Its just a shame I couldn't get Ladbrokes to accept a bet on the outcome.  It would have been the easiest money I ever made.

The odds would have been pathetic so you would not have had much return Fester,its just like me thinking they might improve my xmas lights,or they might put the Llandudno welcomes(croeso) you sign on the A470, the main road into Llandudno,they are spending all that money so the residents of Penrhyn Bay and Rhos-on Sea can admire it,idiots.

Credit where it's due to CCBC. I reported a sunken manhole next to the traffic island by Villa Marina at Craigside on Wednesday and it was fixed yesterday, just one day after I made the report!

It's been a problem for several years, with cars swerving to avoid it, so doubt it was a coincidence!

To be fair, Ffordd Elisabeth is not one of the main roads in/out of Llandudno, being used by thousands of vehicles daily.

Some flower beds have been done in town and some not,they used to do them all at once on a Sunday but cuts must have been made or we are just last on the list,you all know my middle name is winge but even i have given up on  the pavillion,Clarence,Tudno Castle,station the new way is to ignore them all and the people elected might just notice themselves.

A huge skip full of beds outside.
Wondered if it had more new owners.

Had a nice walk around tonight,planting still in progress,but CCBC parks dept have definatly stopped cutting the grass around town,the worst i saw was trinity ave playing fields,growing wild not been touched for weeks.

I think its about time Llandudno Town council employed two gardners of their own for the summer months just to cut the grass and weed the promenade because the town is being let down big style by CCBC.I know they will say no but this town as a tourist town is at stake and as usual not a word from the hoteliers who;s buissness relys on it.
