You are right Blodyn. It was beautiful in LLandudno today.

Sorry, but my photo is going to lower the tone......
Another enticing shopping opportunity in Llandudno today!

Can anyone tell me if the 'Huggle Buddie' shop/stall is still open ? (and where is it?).....we're coming up next weekend so i can get one for my 5yr old.
thanks  ;)

Hi Emma,
It  was the Home store on Mostyn Street, next door to Pebbles fish and chip shop and near the bus stop.
There were some there when I walked past last week but I am not sure they were exactly the same as before. This time they were mainly very bright lime green. They were on a table outside the shop.
Hope you have a lovely holiday and you get better weather than your last trip.

Seems to me that the writer of that article has never been to Llandudno.

Thanks Hollins, Ill have a look. I know where that is.......im sure its Pebbles that has a gluten free menu for my dad, which makes him very happy !
Im so looking forward to the break, short and sweet as it will be. We came in November last year in all the snow ! Dont think its forecast yet this year, so fingers crossed for it to be dry at least.

I think its Barnacles that offers the gluten free menu. I've tried both Barnacles and Pebble this summer and was very unimpressed with the portion sizes in both of them, just a tourist rip off in my opinion. I still think the Galleon in Conwy offers the best chips in the local area. &shake&

Did the town council turn on the lights on Mostyn st, lets be honest we all know this was a WORLD rally and Llandudno was in the limelight ,so if those lights where not turned on why, afterall they are only summer lights. :rage:

The body-builder guy that runs West Shore Fisheries on Gt Ormes Rd (next to the Post Office) ...
He makes a great fish and chips.
Even if he didn't, I wouldn't dare tell him...

One thing that was noticeable was that the street lighting along Mostyn Street is so poor that the Council had to hire in pole mounted floodlights for the evening event. Quite a few of the floodlights on the buildings are not working or pointing the wrong way...and have been like that for some time. Isn't it time that the original ornate lampposts were brought back into use with the latest LED fittings and then these unreliable 30+ year old floodlights could be scrapped?
