Erupting water instead of lava. The roundabout at Hooson's Corner was rapidly flooding when I passed by.

Thunderstorms, flooding----first I've heard about that, and I was up on Llwynon Road all afternoon and evening. It rained, but nothing exceptional. Obviously very localised.

Well it is August Bank Holiday weekend! If you want to go some where indoors, there's a fair at Holy Trinity Church, proceeds to re-roof St Tudno's on the Orme.

Agggggh-- Just got caught in this lot on the Orme with Frizzy dog. That's me finished for today-- I'm going nowhere unless it fines up. Might drift along if the weather improves.

I notice there have been a few sellers of Rag Mags in Mostyn Street for the past few days dressed up in fancy dress.

I didn’t buy one myself because I still have a daughter at university and she came home at the end of May and will not be going back until next weekend.

Can someone please confirm they are genuine sellers even though the universities are shut?

To be honest, I don't think its got anything to do with raising money for any university, it's a straightforward money making scam. Why not ask them which university they go to and see what they say?  ;)

It's back to the Street Traders regulations again!  Need a licence - do they have one?

There is also the scam of selling badges and other small things for so called "charity" by chatting all the oldies sitting along the prom.  They will cough up for anything without even thinking.

I was at Tesco once publicising the I.A.M. Advanced Driving program and old ladies were walking up to us with a pound coin in their hands without an inkling of who or what we were!  Amazing! :D
