Thanks, Nemesis.

Llandudnotrust, it's the Celtic harp concert at St. Tudno's Church this evening.

Leading Celtic harpist Delyth Jenkins will be performing there at 7.30 pm.  Tickets are £8.00 (concessions £5.00).  It should be a lovely concert but I hope the weather doesn't put people off.

As per Blodyn's photograph no view from the top of the Orme for most of today and yet the trams were packed all day.

Yes, I noticed the packed trams as I made an escape to Macdonalds. An hour later I returned up the Orme only because I knew my Council greenkeeper was up there. Whilst talking in the shelter of his cab, golfers started to arrive. Within fifteen minutes I had 32 players on the course (max 36 i.e. 4 playing each hole) at one time they could'nt even see the flags. A bit hair raising for me --- no chance of dodging a stray ball, you couldnt even see it.

Delyth Jenkins gave a wonderful concert at St. Tudno's this evening, performing traditional tunes, her own compositions and one by her violinist daughter, Angharad.  Forty very appreciative people braved the dismal weather to attend and in such a small church that's enough to feel like a good sized audience - and it even stopped raining during the evening.

For those who weren't able to attend, you can hear some samples of Delyth's music on her own website.

Sorry this isn't a clearer photo.

Anyone know what has happened to the weekend festival on Bodafon fields?  The fairground is there, all set up, but appears to be deserted. I understood it was a two day event, today and tomorrow, with all manner of things happening.

They are using the top field up by the main buildings.

I believe there is a dog show and carnival queens tomorrow as well as a parade  from near the Merrion Hotel - at 12.30.

Well, I'm not so sure. At 9.30 this morning there was one, and only one, large man in a dayglow coat stood in the middle of the entrance road. I didnt bother asking him any details,I feared the worse. It must have cost the fairground people tens of thousands to move all their tackle and then not to be open at 7 p.m. in the evening----something doesent make sense

There was some sort of incident on the Orme earlier - the Coastguard, Helicopter and both Lifeboats were out on the curve before the Lighthouse. Last pic shows the RNLB Andy Pearce being towed back to the Boathouse:

The road is closed because runners are coming around in the "wrong" direction
