You shouldn't need to right click, I just left click the photo so it is highlighted and all the info is displayed in a strip at the bottom of the screen? I'm using Windows Vista, maybe you are using another version of Windows?

I'm using Windows XP, left clicking does nothing except with your (excellent) pictures when it links to your Flickr site, at least now I know I'm not going mad!  L0L

Oh I see, you mean you're clicking the photos on the forum! No, I mean when the photos are stored on your hard drive and you are viewing them in the Windows folder there!

I wasn't happy with my first batch of Conwy At Dusk photos, so went  back for another go:

Just started using a Nikon S8000. Set everything on 'Auto' and used a tripod last night

Hi MrFalafel, not bad! You could try using manual settings with the tripod and see how it affects the photo. Set the Aperture down to as low as possible, say f4, and the shutter speed to, say 1/10thsec. Doing it manually will mean you can choose to allow far more light into the photo, ending up with a far brighter overall image.

Not really a night shot but interior ones can be just as tricky to get right. Here's the entrance hallway of the Palladium, Llandudno, now Wetherspoons:

Looks really good. Did you use a tripod and how did you get the sand to be so illuminated?
