Can anyone throw any light on what is happening at 'The Grand Ash' please. Since the big skip at the front went nothing seems to have moved.

Closed for good under the old management, it was being put up for sale somewhere.
If they had not sold it they said they may open while a buyer was found, presume from your post that has not happend.
That is what the manager's wife told my wife.
He was made redundant sadly.

How is the town coping with the influx of cars parking for the Travelodge.

You would think they would lay on a shuttle bus from the car park to the hotel.

Apparently, there is a Co-op going in one side of the new Travelodge and a restaurant in the other.

I understand the Travelodge is fully booked for Easter.

Travelodge need to sort out their website for the new place.  These are the most glaring anomalies:

Quote
Parade down Llandudno Pier for some fun in the sun or take a scenic stroll down to Llandudno Beach, just a mile away from the comfort of your hotel.

Quote
Travelodge Llandudno is only half a mile from Llandudno Junction Railway Station

The first error - particularly - is unbelievably daft, since beach proximity was always the selling point of the Clarence in days gone by.  Do they not think of getting the blurbs checked over by local folk?
