Some good examples there Norman of homes of multiple occupation,  it's happened in Colwyn Bay and Rhyl before the Bay.     Bedsit land has caused various  problems in the Bay and the Rhyl areas so I hope that Llandudno's present problems will not deteriorate any further.

CCBC need to come down hard on rogue landlords who screw the system but invest very little back into their properties.

In recent years, the Trip Advisor reviews for The Grand Hotel are little short of dire.
So, during 2014 a new Manager was installed, with a remit to rigorously improve standards.
For a while, I started to hear better reports, from some guests, and the odd member of staff.

Sadly however, the more stringent approach taken by the Manager led to him being sacked, due to allegations of bullying.

Instead, a Manager of another facility based in Prestatyn has been asked to manage both sites, from their base in Prestatyn,
There is no longer a General Manager of that massive hotel, based in the hotel.

It would appear that since then, the lunatics are now running the asylum.   &shake& &shake&

The Tal y Cafn pub / hotel restoration and building appears to have stalled. They'd built up to the ground floor windows, inserted the frames and that's it;  nothing happened on the site for several months. Across the road from the hotel (Eastwards) there seems to be a new building or a big renovation taking place.

I noticed that too when I went past last week and the building across the road to the Tal Y Cafn Hotel looked quite impressive.     Don't know what's causing the delay with the Hotel though.
