Where will you find this disused railway line in the Conwy area....and where did it lead to?

That's not it, I'm afraid, the answer lies in the Conwy area...

The new fence makes me think of the A470 North of Llanwrst where they are doing road improvements.  Could it be a disused branch line heading off towards Trefriw from the Conwy Valley line?

It's Merddin Emrys that's getting quite close here...but not quite it. Certainly a disused siding and pretty close to Llandudno Junction Station...but where does it lead to?

I'm afraid not, Hugo, this siding is on the other side of Llandudno Junction station.

Led to the old goods yard and loco sheds and the 6G motive power depot (which closed in 1966). This and the former adjoining goods yard now have been redeveloped, but the new flyover road across the site bears the name 6G.

I'm afraid not, Yorkie! This siding led to a distinct location (still extant but disused) on the Conwy side of Llandudno Junction station....

Just before the railway brige over the River Conway, on the junction side. Leads to the old dock

BrianP takes the prize! It is the old LNWR Quay Siding, just to the side of the main line by the Conwy railway bridge. Used originally for shipping out goods by boat (including, for a short time, aluminium from the newly opened works at Dolgarrog), it then remained in use as Carriage Sidings for many years until the sidings were removed in the 1980s but the line down to the Quay remains, along with an old LNWR crane on the Quay itself. I've seen people walking on the Quay bit but have no idea how they got there, unless by boat?
