By the look of it I would suggest the Local Probation Offices!              ZXZ

Some would say that you're not far wrong but, no, it's not any sort of Council or Govt building.

Indeed, it is the front door of the Washington nightclub on Llandudno promenade.  &well&

This pedestrian tunnel in central Colwyn Bay dates back to Victorian times. It hasn't been used for maybe 70 years at least. But when it was built, it was an important access route between ...where and where?

I've been parked outside it a gazzillion times in my cab but I never recognised it because it's always open when I'm there!

Just a little bit of extra useless information about tunnels! L0L

The Rhos Fynach Pub in Rhos On Sea (meaning 'Monk's Marsh') is the oldest building in the area, but was originally a 12th century monastery with secret tunnels linking it to the nearby 6th century, Chapel of St Trillo. Rhos Fynach was the home to the monks who fished the weir off Rhos Point to provide the catch for the larger monastery in Conwy at the time.

Hmmmm......not quite the correct answer, although you're certainly in the right area. The tunnel linked a facility and a building.....

I was hoping the fact the doors were closed would throw people off the scent, Paddy!  L0L

Well, that's half the answer, so good enough, I guess. The tunnel was part of a private passageway that linked the Railway Station at Colwyn Bay with the original Colwyn Bay Hotel, so that the Guests did not have to associate with mere mortals. The tunnel remains in situ today, although it is sealed off. You can see the entrance above the Public Toilets on the Rhos side of the Pier.

This grand old lion is one of a pair that adorns a building in Conwy - but which building?

I was going to say a link from Hotel direct to station but couldn't find any info to substantiate it!  However I was thinking of a different hotel!   Nice one.       ZXZ

As for the new one, that is The Castle Hotel in Conwy.
