I've just noticed that Yorkie has become Chair of the Temporal Commission. Maybe that's the part time job he's been after!

Are we all to bestow ludicrous, conceited and undeserved titles upon ourselves on this Forum?

Absolutely.  After all, this is probably the only place we can get away with it    _))*

RNLI Llandudno Sea Swim

Saturday 18th June 2011
1500m swim around the beautiful bay at Llandudno, North Wales. Although this is a race, entrants can also use the event to familiarise themselves with the Llandudno Sea Triathlon Swim course. Swimmers will be chip timed and a t-shirt will be provided.
Swimmers start from the water’s edge and complete 2 laps of the course.

Llandudno Sea Triathlon

Sunday 17th July 2011
This fantastic event, first run in 2009, incorporates the thrill of a sea swim, and a challenging cycle section on mainly closed roads around the Great Orme with its glorious vista over the North Wales Coast. The run route goes out along the Victorian Promenade and then over the Little Orme to Penrhyn Bay. Turnaround and then back over the Little Orme and along the Promenade, hopefully with a sea breeze to cool you to the finish! A racked transition will be used, and results will be via electronic chip timing.

Three Castles Welsh Rally
Wednesday 1st june 2011

Day 1 Llandudno Stage on the prom

We gather in Llandudno. This elegant seaside town
is our home for four days and nights. There’s action
all day and you’ll meet the whole Three Castles team,
with a morning briefing and an instruction session
for first timers, followed by a thirty mile Practice Day
touring route to blow away the cobwebs and to help
beginners get used to working with a tulip road book
(supplied). This includes an example regularity section
and driving test. Scrutineering and Documentation
take place in the afternoon on the Promenade and in
Rally HQ, the Imperial Hotel. In the evening a
Gala Welcome Dinner helps you get to know
everyone, or catch up with friends again.
