I see a petition on Buckley, where they trialled the 20mph, gained over 15,000 signatures against lowering the limit.

Crazy decision.

Electric Vehicle charging points near me - See the full UK map   ref The Pioneer

At the present time whilst the cost of EVs is steadily dropping and public charging is more widespread, ?range anxiety? (the fear of running out of charge on the road) still holds many people back from switching to EVs.

As a way to help ease that anxiety for drivers, AutoTrader has created a data-rich, interactive map to show where all the current EV charging points are in the UK.

This also includes information on how quickly certain EV points charge the car, which are split up into the categories of 'Slow', 'Fast', 'Rapid' and 'Ultra Rapid'.

The map shows there are two points in Rhyl, two in St Asaph, three in Abergele, and one in Prestatyn.

Also, there are two in Llandudno Junction, one in Conwy, two in Colwyn Bay and one in Llandudno.

There are five charging points in and around Bangor, three in Caernarfon, and a total of 11 on Anglesey.

You can find the map via the AutoTrader website here.    https://www.autotrader.co.uk/cars/electric/charging-points/

It would be good if the fuel stations were as quick to reduce prices as they were to increase them.

Drivers risk ?5k fine and nine penalty points for simple indicator error
You could be found to be driving without due care and attention if you make the mistake

How many times have you seen cars turning off roads, even the A55 and not indicating?      I've never heard of one motorist getting prosecuted for this offence so why make laws if the Police don't intend to enforce them?
If these selfish drivers break these rules then they are equally likely to be driving without road tax, MOT or insurance

Good luck to the Police trying to enforce some of those. Passing on the inside lane is not an offence, in and of itself. They'd have to prove it was in court, and that could be very difficult.

My car recognition is quite good, but my film knowledge is virtually zero - however, I can spot the link to the best film of all time.

I've got a great idea.

Gone are the days when pump prices were under a pound. In recent weeks fuel costs have been bobbing around at just under the ?2 mark but prices could be heading down. According to the latest predictions, filling up your tank could cost ?10 less in the next two weeks.

The reversal in prices could have already begun according to new fuel price data from the AA . The motoring organisation said the price of petrol had dropped by 2.8p a litre from record highs, with drivers benefitting from an average price of ?1.50 off the price of a tank.

Asda has cut the price of petrol and diesel. In an announcement, Asda said it has cut the price of unleaded by 5p per litre and diesel by 3p to help motorists save money after months of spiralling prices.

The move means drivers will pay on average ?1.74 for a litre of unleaded and ?1.85 for diesel when filling up at Asda's 323 petrol stations across the UK.         ref DP

Drivers have been warned over new technology aimed at catching motorists who are on their phones at the wheel. A new van is being trialled and if found to be successful, could eventually be used across the UK in the near future.

The van can tell if someone is wearing their seatbelt, whilst also being able to detect if a driver is using their mobile while behind the wheel. Images taken by the van, which is being trialled by Warwickshire Police, are processed using artificial intelligence (AI).
