This is the why air ambulance, police, fire and ambulance were in Rhos-on Sea today
Emergency crews were called out to deal with an incident
Police, fire, ambulance and the helimed were at Rhos-on-Sea, in Conwy, today after an elderly man collapsed today.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service (NWFRS) said they were first at the scene at around 5.30pm and gave aid to casualty.
North Wales Police (NWP), the Welsh Ambulance Service (WAS) and the helimed - which landed nearby on the beach - arrived soon after.
A police car and ambulance were seen blocking the road to the incident, while emergency crews dealt with it.
A WAS spokeswoman said the helimed was not required and they were in the process of "conveying" a patient to Ysbyty Glan, Clwyd, Bodelwyddan.
There were no further details on the person's condition. ref DP
