Ruomour that the ship will re-open in the new year by a Chester firm or landlord.

I know some people that looked at the ship in rhos.  It is an enterprise inn and the terms appeared to make trading at a profit challenging to say the least!  Having said that, it is a good location!  It would be great to have some where good for food as well as a pint, and another less empty building. Z**

I know a couple of local lads who seemed set to re-open The Ship, it must have fallen through.

     Are you talking about the Ship in Rhos. If so, my mind boggles.

    I know times are mega hard in the pub trade, but the Ship Rhos was a prime pub business wise, you just couldnt fail. If that has closed well ----- shades of one foot in the grave ---- I don't beeliieeeve it.

   I didn't believe it with the Ship Old Colwyn.   But, that has well and truly gone and is never likely to be a pub again.  Mike
