Don't forget to take your grandchildren to the new Xmas Grotto where the Early Learning Centre used to be.  ;)

I take it M&S are going to have proper window displays again at some point, instead of those terrible vinyl graphics presently all over the windows?

Anyone tried the new Barbers yet?  I could do with a trim.    :D

M&S appears to be finished, although it seems rather dull inside and very difficult to find what you are looking for. There is an awful lot more stock, so it will take a bit of getting used to. Hope they don't keep moving everything round, at least if things stay in roughly the same place it is easy to rush in and grab what you need.
On the same trip I had look at the Christmas Fayre in Madoc Street-- much better than the one in Colwyn Bay. Never seen so many scarves!! Plenty of nuts, cheeses and fudge, but don't think the ice cream was selling very quickly !

Nice to see St Davids have been given the job of trying to dispose of Hoosons and Boots on Broadway.

Went into M&S the other day. Whose genius idea was it to put the sandwiches right down on the back wall of the store? Then, two of the four self service tills were broken. Rubbish!

We have been thinking exactly the same for a good couple of weeks expecting them to be moved back to the front of the store when refurbishment finished.

It's small wonder Greggs is always so busy.

Should help to give the Hospice a nice little boost in funds!     :D

Presumably, wrex, you are referring to the leases on both?

It is ironic that that contractors have this past week been repairing the paving slabs outside what was formerly Manweb, Bootes on Broadway and lately HSS Hire.

Hoosons recently had a similar problem.

If it is believed 150 coaches a day can arrive at the coach park then it may not be long before somebody snaps up the lease and opens up another cafe.
