Select & Save convenience store in upper Mostyn St has closed down. Where will the town's alcoholics get their booze from now?

Closed due to an 'unavoidable incident' apparently.  ???

I think it may still be open albeit on reduced opening hours.

Select & Save has been acquired by a local entrepreneur and reopen shortly, assuming it hasn't already. Think it will have its work cut out competing against Sainsburys myself...

Publishers Book Clearance has now closed down, presumably a more long term tenant has been found  for the unit.

Noticed this morning that Tigg's clothing shop in Conwy High Street is closing down, another business bites the dust, just hope that the premises do not remain empty for too long. :(

The shop will be a Outdoors shop after Tiggs has left. Tiggs were on a month by month lease because the parent company ran into financial trouble and there's a bit of politics going on behind the scenes as well.

Thanks dwsi.  Another outdoor clothing shop, but good that the premises are to be used.

The problem is the rent for the site is nearly 2 times per square foot compared with what other tenants are paying in Conwy. It's very difficult to make money in that shop.
