Hi,

I was born in Llandudno Junction in 1953 and went to Maelgwyn School and then Aberconwy.  When I left school I started work as a shorthand typist for a chartered quantity surveyor in Colwyn Bay and then I worked for Barclaytrust in Mostyn Street in Llandudno.  Looking forward to being a member of this forum!!

Hi

I've finally got round to having a proper look. In the old Olle days I sent in some pics to Craig which I see you now have in the photo section dotted about. Some are very bad quality and I have since retouched and smartened them up (some considerably so). What's the best way to send them yo you?

Hi,

Good to see you back on the Forum! I'd love to see the new improved versions, if you email them to me at admin @ threetownsforum.co.uk then I can put them up for everyone to see. Do let me know how you'd like to be credited as well.

Hello Joyce and welcome. I worked at the Branch across the road from the Trust Office from 1983 to 1995. Did you work with Bob Simpson?

Hello folks, my name is Tosh, my dad used to call me that when I was little and when I looked up from the keyboard of my laptop it said Toshiba so I thought there we go,a nickname, so just call me Tosh for short.
I was born in Stoke on Trent and moved here 10 years ago to semi retire and ended up working solidly for the 8 years, I am now properly retired.
I have done my bit and a bit more for the community and still do a bit if I get the chance.
I had my first holiday here at deganwy about 1953 when Randolph Turpin first bought the Summit complex.

An old friend sent me a link regarding vintage aerial photos today so I browsed around and came up with these fascinating pics of North Wales.

These were found within a couple of minutes so a little more mooching around could produce even more.
Have a look and see what you think.
Tosh

Hi - welcome Tosh!

Thanks for the Britain from above link - fantastic images on there. I will use it in further research - maybe even to resolve the long running and contentious debate surrounding the precise gps location of the centre spot of the old Llandudno football ground! (only joking  ;D).

I'm Ludo, and I grew up in Llandudno. I now live in the beautiful Netherlands - in the oldest city of the country, Nijmegen. But I still live in Llandudno somewhere in my soul and of course in the Three Towns Forum....

Thanks for the welcome folks.
Have a look at this one and work your way backward and forward from it.
This one is fantastic.
There are hours of enjoyment here.
