Yorkie, the darn coaches (I quote) bring darn tourists. If you dont like one, then you wont get the other.

And I'll quote - it's the darn coach drivers who are complaining about the arches in Conwy.  I am looking at a solution to all the traffic problems which includes coaches.  Do you by any chance have any transport services bringing people to your facility?   Coaches can't get there can they?     WWW

The No.73 bus goes past every 30 minutes. I've used it a couple of times when I've gone up to see Mike.

I know that!   Just a thought if Mike could cope with a whole coach load at once!    L0L

Might be a bit of a waiting time. Course empty -- nine holes, 4 players go to each tee i.e.36 -- so about 20 would have to share my flask of tea for a few mins.

This should be interesting...

3D Digital Event

The 3D Digital Event is proposed to run alongside Gwledd Conwy Feast
(22-23 October), with the programme beginning each evening as the
Feast ends for the day.  This extends the audiences already in Conwy, as
well as attracting new audiences to the town providing an economic as
well as a creative benefit.

It is a celebration of visual and sound technologies based around Conwy
Castle.  Using the Castle as its backdrop, it is proposed to project
specially commissioned, high-quality digital artworks onto the outside
walls of the building using a sophisticated projection mapping system.  All
the artworks will be based on a unique 3D model of the Castle, and the
artworks will be available for future projects or to the local community after
the festival.

This light-based (lumiere) festival is a new form of public event becoming
popular internationally, and the event will be recorded and uploaded on
the Internet, enabling this event, and Conwy as a World Heritage Site to
reach a world-wide audience.

For the first time in over fifty years I went in to the Guildhall on Saturday part of the Open House scheme.  Very interesting paintings and prints you'd like Dave.  The lady guide is a councillor and the Deputy mayor was there as well so I took the opportunity to ask why St. Agnes cemetry (the old part) is allowed to be so overgrown.  They both looked puzzled and said there are budgets for that sort of thing.  They will look in to it so fingers crossed.

Also on the wall in one of the rooms is a marquetery picture of the castle.  She said it had been found on a wall when modernising a bank in Llandudno and given to Conwy by said bank.  The thing is I know I've seen it before.... but where?  Any ideas?

How strange that the article Dwsi posts was only 2 pages away in the NWWN, from another article all about the same gentleman, Nelson Haerr, and his new business in Llanrwst.

He seems to be getting into the paper even more than Greg Robbins!

I've said about the two Divs that trashed cars up and beyond our street the other night and this will be the third time cars have been vandalized in one way or another on the same street, so you could quite safely say that Rosemary Lane is a hot spot for Morons on their way home.  The annoying thing is on each occasion the Cctv camera that covers the Square and Rosemary lane has been out of action, I quote "apparently it will cost thousands to repair and so the Council won't pay it" they'll be quick enough to collect the money for the parking permit though won't they!  Well I will personally make sure that every resident in Conwy signs my petition not to pay until all Cctv cameras covering their streets are fully operational and recording.  This type of offence has already cost local residents here collectively thousands of pounds in  repairs to body work, windscreens and insurance premiums.
