Man 'shocked' to find constrictor snake in Colwyn Bay garden
Stephen Gowing and his dog Hamish were surprised by what is understood to be a corn snake

A man and his terrier were shocked to discover a large snake in the garden at their Colwyn bay home. Stephen Gowing, who lives on Pen-y-Bryn Road, Colwyn Heights, found what he understands is a corn snake on Wednesday morning.
He's a friend and near neighbour of mine so I'll have to watch out when I go in my back garden

I was walking on the tarmac section of the unadopted part of Pen Y Bryn Road when I noticed an ambulance on the driveway where they are building an ultra modern house but didn't think too much of it at the time.
On my return journey another ambulance with it lights fl;ashing went past me and also went into the building site.
I later found out from a neighbour that an air ambulance had landed further down the road and the reason was because two people had  had a fall on the building site.      I hope that the man and the woman have not sustained life changing injuries
Conwy County planning officers have been extremely negligenmt with this development and apart from allowing building work to be undertaken outside of the permitted hours,  there are no warning signs or safety helmets visible
