FA CUP 4TH Round

Liverpool 2   Man Utd 1

It turned out to be a very good game with a lot of skill from both sides but the result was fair in the end.  Utd may be out of the cup but at least they can win the league, can't they?
Paul Scholes is still a great footballer but the last time I saw someone play with the same lack of speed and movement was Norman08 back in the 70's!    :D

At least I can enjoy the Lobscouse for dinner now.      $good$

Hey Norm!

I saw you down watching Llandudno FC at Maesdu the other week...
They lost, but you looked like you could still do a job for that team.

Take your boots down with you next match mate.

Being the fair man you are, Hugo, I am surprised you did not comment on the all the booing one player received from a majority of the crowd every time he touched the ball just because he had made an earlier complaint over being racially abused by a player belonging to the opposing side.

Was that right?

I didn't play in the game against Man Utd and didn't even go to watch it either.  I was told afterwards that they had lost count of the score after 15 - 0 and the Referee blew time before the 90 minutes were up as the game was so one sided.
A lad from Craig Y Don called Peter   ?  had arranged the game and he had also arranged one against Bolton Wanderers some time later and I was asked to play in order to stabalise the defence.  I hadn't played for a year and had put on two stone so I was out of condition and we lost that game 5 - 1.

Bri,  it's banter nothing more and Beckham got it after he was sent off for England.    I've had worse stick myself and can remember one tackle I did at Maesdu and the crowd were booing long after the guy got up off the floor and what was worse was that they were our supporters!
