I've just walked down to get a paper and was amazed to see a dusting of snow on Tal-y-Fan and everything totally white from Foel Fras upwards and beyond. I didn't think it was that cold last night.
I looked out of the window this morning and couldn't believe it. Thought it was low cloud for a minute, then realised it was snow.  :o

Well temps at Betws were single figure last night, and at Foel Fras they'd have been freezing or below, given the altitude.

"Councillor Malcolm Bullock, mayor of Llandudno, said: “This is a building that Llandudno has missed and one that really needs to be open.

“Hopefully dropping the asking price will attract more people towards it, as it was a popular venue with a big presence in the town."

Ignoring for a moment the fact that predicting the weather ahead even five days is almost impossible these 'experts' are not doing anything other than fuel the hysterics.

Looks like Arch Motors is entering its final days as a scrapyard, with planning permission being submitted for a shop and houses.

Shop? That will put it right in the middle of two other shops.

Ysgol John Bright is built on contaminated land!  The land can be reclaimed, just depends on how badly it is contaminated, and cost of cleaning.  Brickworks forms good hardcore!

CCBC have been on Arthur's back for years, maybe now they will create the opportunity for the place to be utilised for housing or some other useful purpose.

As a user of that roundabout several times a day it will be good to see the back of the fence which blocks the exit and motorists might slow down coming from the Maesdu bridge direction, the amount of times i have pulled onto the mini roundabout only to find some idiot boming along unable to giveway.

With the decline of Llandudno and still more shops closeing,Who is going to step up to the mark. Now with old Oscar off the scene all CCBC and town councillors can carry on doing nowt knowing they can;t even be held to Oscar, what a bleak future the resort has.Cut the gardeners, leave the lights(maybe not, xmas will tell),leave the beach to pebble itself and no plans in the pipeline for any tourist attractions whatsoever.

No money and no sense,so that counts me out Hugo but as we seem to be in the top ten places so often why do we fail to attract any one with AMBITION.We have prime sites like Broadway and the Pavilion yet not a snifter of interest, shame, but we are only here for a visit, what about the next generation.
