That Riley Elf was a nice looking motor but by the time I arrived most of the cars had gone.  There was a nice looking one that caught my attention and it was a limited number export to South Africa,  I had my camera with me but I didn't take any photos of the cars for some reason!

Shame about that.

I was thinking of doing the Santa Monica to Llandudno run.

,Twas a good turn up--- they have now supposedly limited the entry to 200 cars. A few years ago we were actually taking part and when all the cars were in the summit car park on the Orme no one could move they were so tightly jammed !

Anyone got any ideas why the Police Helicopter was doing low level circling round the Orme for about 30 minutes this evening.

Not sure what the problem was (or is?) ... but the helicpter was supported by a van full of police officers and a patrol car too.
The vehicles were going between The Grand and the Happy Valley cafe area... and back.

The seabirds of all kinds were frightened by the helicopter and were swarming around squawking in the sky.

The helicopter came over me in Penrhyn Bay at around 3.45 pm my pigeons noticed it first and flew off, they can hear lower frequency sound than people!

i thought i'd used google to see if anybody had reported anything re the helicopter. No matches on the helicopter but this came up near the top of the  first page of the search. Apparently the Great orme is number 3 in the UK hit parade for alien abductions.http://kevinbraddock.com/media/Abducted.pdf

I noticed today that the Whoops shop in St Georges Place was empty - have they closed or just being decorated maybe?

That big double fronted shop on Madoc Street that was formerly an estate agents (Was it Reeds Rains?) is now the new offices for Cartrefi Conwy.
