Lock-up, workshop, garage.
« on: July 28, 2011, 11:53:43 pm »
Hi folks,
I'm looking to rent a Lock-up, workshop or garage, in the Llandudno area.
Needs to be cheap and needs power, anything garage sized considered.

Thanks for reading!

Yr best bet for a lock up with power is Bathers Storage Llandudno   01492 870376

Thanks for the reply.
I've been into Bathers, but no units with power and I need to be able to work from the unit, not just store.

A couple of places for you to try............
Practical Pine in Central Place rent out space and next door Bryan George at Metal Finishers has units which have power but these are up for sale so don't know whether he is still renting them out.
Failing that you could get a geni and rent at lock stock in the Junction

I've been to Central Place, and she has a unit, but I was hoping to pay a little less (I may be deluding myself as too how much this should cost, but after being rent free for 3 years, any rent is shock to the system!).

I've also been to Lock Stock and they had 1 unit left, but that option is really a last resort, as I need a unit I can keep quite clean and have lighting, and a container is not ideal.

I guess I'm looking for something in the middle!

Try the Old Laundry Site in Church Road, Rhos on Sea.

Quite expensive Yorkie, £5000 pa, for slightly smaller than a double garage  :o

I suspect the best way may be to take a walk around the area, look for some suitable vacant premises and then just offer the owner a few quid. Anything commercial is never going to be less than £50 a week, I suspect.
