Chinese health and martial arts in llandudno
« on: June 22, 2011, 04:31:24 am »
Hello three towns forum and beyond

i have recently started practicing Chinese martial arts and qigong (which i think is similar in principle to tai chi and yoga and is oriented around breathing and movement for health) classes are held every monday evening at the loreto centre, abbey road, llandudno between 6.30 and 9.30 though we often run until 10 as we lose track of time practicing. i must add also don't be intimidated if you walk in and the first thing you see is two (we'll say mature) ladies with swords and/or wooden staffs ;)

Classes include from 6.30 - 7.30pm Chun Yuen Quan - dynamic shaolin martial art
6.30 - 7.30pm Chen Taijiquan - forms, weapons and push hands
7.30 - 8.30pm Wild Goose Qigong - gentle movement for health
                                  8.30 - 9.30 (10pm) Wing Chun Kuen - practical self defence

each lesson is priced at £7 or £6 each if you take more than one. all comers are welcome (including beginners)
