I've had somebody message me about registering on the site, and he can't get past the question about 'Village closest to Colwyn Bay', and he said he has tried every possible answer and has got no where.

He's asking if its a trick question! ;D

No. it isn't and there are only two options. It asks for only the first name, too, which makes it quite a bit easier. Make sure they don't use capitals.  I've emailed you as well.

We've had to toughen the access route, since we're experiencing a very large number of attacks on a daily basis.  We try lowering the level, then the attacks simply return.

Where is everyone?  The number of posts seems to be reducing day by day!  No-one got anything to say?  Or are all our lives so quiet these days?

All the local issues are still unresolved and even a local Trial has gone un-mentioned.  At the rate we're going with the diminshing number of posts, it will be closed in a fortnight!  Except for Genealogy, which always has a post or two.

No they're not.  The number of posts is closely connected to the weather. On fine, warm days people are out doing things. On wet, cold and dark days the posts rocket. It cycles.

Can I just remind you that when you respond to a PM, you must log in to the Forum and reply. Just clicking 'reply' to the email notification you received means that your reply comes straight through to me rather than the desired recipient...as it did this morning.

Sorry again, but I was getting an error message and so had to resend the only way possible.  Eventually I got it through via the correct route.

No worries, it took me a while to work out why you were sending me an email containing that sort of gossip and insinuations about various local people.

It was because someone asked me a question.  As far as I am concerned it was an honest answer, supposedly in confidence, to the person who enquired, who presumably had good reason to ask for assistance.  In my reply no one has been defamed as many people were by a certain Blog, and I tried to give what help I could in the circumstances.

I suspect Y might have been attempting to answer a PM from me, so it's my fault. Apologies.

Does this tittle tattle behind the scenes happen on a regular basis?
If so I think it a shame that there is a hidden forum within the forum containing such talk about anybody let alone possible fellow forum members.
