We need more information before the problem can be fixed. Any names of EXE files or anything that can help us identify which virus it is?

A mixed bag really....
I keep seeing adverts to download 'Efix Pro for windows' ..... or my PC will crash imminently.

As I type this to you, it is asking me to download  Health.exe    or PChealth.exe

I'm touching none of them!

Help please. I am having problems with the main page of the forum, the one that shows the recent posts etc. The page keeps "jumping."
Sorry, not sure what to call it. It is only on the main page and not when you go to a particular topic. It is only happening on this web page and it is the same on my laptop and my netbook.

Er..yes;  that's my fault.  I created a 'Merry Christmas' message for the news box, but it's much larger than the only other message in the box, and the two rotate. Whenever the message changes, the entire screen is resized.  So it'll all be back to normal shortly.  Sorry...

That's okay Ian. I'll let you off! Just relieved it wasn't something I was doing wrong and thanks for the Christmas greetings!

I appear to have lost the Link to the Members List.  Or it has been removed.

It's been removed as it was not needed.

Personally, I referred to it quite regularly, particularly with new Members and those who don't post so often.

How did you decide it wasn't needed?  Or did I miss a survey?   However, it's your Forum so if that is your decision, so be it!

Further to above one can still get the Member's info by clicking on their Name from when a post has been made.  However this only applies to those who are active posters and not those who may be readers or lurkers.

Hi Folks nice to be back in touch. Hope you have all been safe during the recent bad weather and avoided any damage.

Been away for a couple of weeks during which my lap top broke down and could not be revived.
Trip over to Oban last week between the storms and bought a new laptop.
Everything installed off the old hard disc and working fine. Everywhere except TTT.
Everytime I tried to enter the site I could read all the posts but not reply, and it  would not" show posts since last visit".
Kept telling me I was not entitled to access the site. Had to reregister with my original name and password and now working OK.

Is this because I had not visited the site for about 4 weeks  ?

It's probably more to do with your cookies not having been transferred.
