Grrr- Just had a rant in Asda. The 'proper' tills do not now open till 9am. Thus I had to squash my weekly shop onto one of the larger self service talking tills which was manned by a checkout lady. The conveyor is at the opposite side to normal, therefore everything had to be lifted over the trolly onto the right side instead of loading at the end. Thus goods pile up with nowhere to put them. People pile up behind and chaos ensues! Also the till could not deal with the purchase of a gift card, so I had to go to the desk. Right thought I -- complaints book.-- It would be better if you checked out after 9 am said the lady behind the counter. *@#* !!! The time all this went on ? 8.54am. Head office have had an E- Mail ! Me ?I need a cup of strong coffee !

Read Ann Widdecombe in today's Daily Express.  You wouldn't believe the attitude of Sainsbury's.   :o

I keep getting these stupid ads popping up (Mikes golf accepted and other local shops etc) The ones i object to are these people spying on you ads, not only am i getting them at the top of a subject but below as well. Also i dont want an overseas relationship with a foreign lady, getting a bit miffed now.  It may not be problem of the year just annoying!

Just to let everyone know that if they see

"Edited...by Ian"

at the bottom of any of their posts it's happening because I'm editing the 'quote' tags to get selected quotes to display properly. I'm not changing what's actually been posted.

I'd also like to thank those who are making an effort to only quote part of the posts to which they're referring, as it does make the forum much easier to read.  Just to repeat what I've suggested before, if you simply copy then paste the bit you want, then highlight that bit using the mouse and then click the little quote button, it will appear as a nicely quoted piece in your posting.

As you'll all have noticed, we've been spammed overnight, with a welter of...interesting pictures...  WWW Anyway, I've turned on mandatory Admin approval for all new and prospective members and if you didn't save the pics, then bad luck :-))

Thanks to all who notified us of the incursion.  As far as possible, the accounts have been deleted along with all posts and topics but one of two might have escaped net.  If you spot any, please do an admin report and I'll sort it as soon as possible. Thanks again.
